The Trendline Strategy

A specific, rules-based entry and exit system for trend-following and counter-trend trades. Developed by a practicing trader. Applied across forex, crypto, stocks, options, and futures on any timeframe.

No indicators. The entry is the trendline. The rules tell you when it's valid and when it isn't.

Why It Works

The core method is specific. It's not "draw a line and follow the trend" — it's a defined process for identifying when a trendline is a valid entry, when it's not, how to size the stop, and where to take profit.

The counter-trend variant adds a second entry model for the conditions where the primary setup doesn't apply. The result: multiple valid entries per trend without waiting for a confluence of indicators. Tight stops. Wide targets. Asymmetric risk/reward by design.

The method was developed and tested by a practicing trader across multiple markets. The specific rules — the entry criteria, the invalidation conditions, the counter-trend trigger — are the product.

Example (one rule shown)
"When price closes above the ascending trendline for the second consecutive candle and pulls back to touch it, the entry is valid. Stop below the swing low. Invalidated if price closes below the trendline."

Who This Is For

This is for you if:

  • You want a specific, repeatable process — not a framework you have to interpret on every trade
  • You've tried indicator-based setups and found yourself waiting too long, or entering too early
  • You want to trade multiple markets with one consistent method
  • You're new to trading and want a structured first step that goes beyond "watch YouTube"

This is NOT for you if:

  • You're looking for a signal service
  • You want a guaranteed income stream
  • You're looking for a "holy grail"
  • You won't accept that no strategy is perfect — this is a process with rules, and it will have losing trades. The edge is in the asymmetry over time, not in any single trade.
